  • "Interpretive Implications of Using Bible-Search Software for New Testament Grammatical Analysis," by Harry Hahne

Bible-search programs exhibit considerable variation in search results due to several factors: (1) differences in the underlying biblical texts, including grammatical tagging schemes; (2) differences in the capabilities and assumptions of the search software; (3) user errors. This paper explains how to achieve accurate search results with popular Bible-search software. Although the emphasis is on Greek New Testament searches, the principles apply to research in the Hebrew Bible and translations.
